We wish congratulations to our receptionist Stephie B who has successfully completed her Level 3 award in Dental Practice Reception with the Dental Business Academy. This is a fantastic achievement for Stephie and a great addition to the skills of our brilliant team of dental receptionists.
On February 28th our Hungerford practice was inspected by the Care Quality Commisson (CQC) and on April 28th our Marlborough practice was also inspected. We are very proud to have successfully passed our second round of inspections, having previously been inspected in 2014, with no areas for improvement. Whilst working full-time, Christopher is also undergoing a year long course with Tipton Training, on advanced restorative dentistry. This is an evidence based, hands-on course with the aim of improving all aspects of dentistry.
In 2016 we have continued to strive to improve our standards with regular training sessions, both in-house and at other venues. Both Marlborough and Hungerford teams have completed their annual CPR training, we have also updated Infection Control and Data Protection training for the teams. We welcome Jodie Waters to our team. Jodie has previously worked in the health sector in care homes and now joins us to begin her career in Dentistry. She is now in training for the NEBDN National Diploma for Dental Nurses qualification and we look forward to helping her succeed with this.
