Full accreditation
We are pleased to announce that we have gained full accreditation and membership from the Mouth Cancer Foundation's Mouth Cancer Screening Accreditation Scheme (MCSAS). This means that we have met all of the requirements for Oral Cancer Screening, monitoring and in spreading awareness, and will re-assessed in this area each year.
Above average for best practice
We have achieved 90% for Best Practice NHS requirements compared to the national average in England of 34% This includes giving Fluoride treatments to children up to the age of 16. Training
The first half of this year has seen us engage in many training activities. As usual we have carried out our annual CPR and AED training and will be having our annual Infection Control training in August. Another school visit
Kirsty and Kylie visited Little Dragons in Ogbourne St Andrew to entertain them in oral education, this is our first visit here and was very enjoyable.
School visit
Megan, Rainy and Kylie visited St Mary’s under 5’s to entertain them in oral education. This is our third visit to the school and we always enjoy teaching the children about looking after their teeth and gums.
